Navigation is straightforward once Pointe de Combrit is rounded.  If approaching from the North, it is important to check the state of tides at Pointe du Raz.  The tide race around Pointe de Penmarc'h is less strong.

Port de Penfoul marina at the entrance to the Benodet River offer the full range of marina services.  Visitors berth on the outer pontoons, where care is needed when  mooring to allow for the river current.  On the other side of the river, the pretty village of Sainte Marine has buoys for visitors and good restaurants ashore.  More recent reports suggest a pontoon has been installed off Sainte Marine (update needed).

Navigation

Navigation is straightforward once Pointe de Combrit is rounded. If approaching from the North, it is important to check the state of tides at Pointe du Raz. The tide race around Pointe de Penmarc'h is less strong.

Visitors berth on the outer pontoons, where care is needed when mooring to allow for the river current. On the other side of the river, the pretty village of Sainte Marine has buoys for visitors and good restaurants ashore. More recent reports suggest a pontoon has been installed off Sainte Marine (update needed).
