The small harbour of Cetraro lies on the Calabrian coast of Italy, along the ‘instep’ of the peninsula, about one mile N of the town of the same name. The harbour has a tendency to silt and depths in the entrance were historically subject to considerable variation. Upgrading of the harbour and dredging in 2009 established depths of around 3.0 metres throughout the harbour and 5.0 - 6.0 metres in the entrance. However, it is wise to establish the current position before relying on being able to enter here.

- When we visited in August 2003 the harbour was rather shabby and forlorn.
