You'll find it difficult to get a good nights sleep if you're in the outer basin. Would only recommend as a backup port.

If that's not enough the entrance to the port with onshore wind over F5 and waves over a couple of meters is challenging/not recommended. You'd be safer to anchor outside and wait out any rough conditions. Better still don't plan to stop here and head to Dieppe or Honfleur, they're significantly nicer.
