Gavdos or Gávdhos (Γαύδος) is the southernmost Greek island. It is 26 nM south of Crete.

Ports
There is a ferry port at the northern end of the east coast 
Ferry port [[Gavdos#Ferry port|Ferry port]] 34°50.7′N, 24°7.1′E . A ferry calls here once a week. The port facilities have recently been refurbished and there is a quay with depths of 4m all the way along and plenty of space for alongside berthing.
Shelter here is good unless the wind is in the eastern sector.
