Marina Cres lies at the S end of the inlet of [[Cres Town]], the capital of the island of [[Cres]] in [[Croatia]].  Operated by the government-owned ACI group, the marina offers 473 berths for yachts up to 25 metres in depths up to 5.0 metres.  Shelter in the marina is excellent in all conditions.

There are no dangers in the approach to Marina Cres.  The narrow, 500-metre wide inlet leading to [[Cres Town]] and the marina is entered from NW and opens out into a wide bay at the N end of which the town sits.  The sides of the inlet are shallow, with rocky obstructions, especially on the N side, and a yacht should enter down the centre of the channel.  The town and its small, shallow harbour lie just under a mile from the entrance on the NE side.  The inlet narrows again once past the harbour and continues SSE to the pontoons of Marina Cres.  The marina is entered via a narrow channel between the long breakwater that protects it from N and a small islet to the W.  The channel is marked by lit port and starboard markers.
