Marina Kornati is situated in the outer part of the harbour of [[Biograd]], around 15 miles SE of [[Zadar]] on the Adriatic coast of [[Croatia]].  The harbour is separated by the mile wide Pasmanski strait from the long island of [[Pasman]] to the west.  The marina offers a total of 750 berths for yachts up to 23.0 metres in depths of up to 6.5 metres.

===Navigation/Approach===

Essentially the marina is split into two parts with separate entrances:
-
Biograd is approached either from NW along the channel separating the mainland from the islands of Ugljan and Pasman or from S around the southern end of the island of Pasman.  There are no dangers in the approach from NW other than the numerous islands in the Pasmanski Kanal.  In the approach from S, note that the island of Sv. Katerina has shoals extending half a mile off its eastern coast.  Also a green marker buoy indicates a shoal patch 200 metres SW of the entrance to the marinas.  The buildings of the town and the masts in the marinas are conspicuous from some distance off.  Marina Kornati is situated in the outer part of the harbour, which lies on the N side of the peninsula on which the town sits.  The marina is entered from WNW between two long breakwaters.

Essentially the marina is split into two parts with separate entrances:

  • At SE part of the outer harbour (left on the photo) -- closer to the old town attractions
  • At NW part of the outer harbour (right on the photo) -- add 5 min. extra walk to the old town, but there is a mid-sized Konzum supermarket just outside.
