Marina Veli Rat lies in the bay of Zaljev Pantera in the large gulf of Luka Soliscica at the NW end of the island of [[Dugi Otok]] in [[Croatia]].  Dugi Otok itself lies 10 miles SW of the major city of [[Zadar]], with its good ferry links and international airport.  The marina, which opens all year round, offers a total of 110 berths for yachts up to 20 metres in depths of up to 4.0 metres. The marina offers good shelter in most wind conditions, but a chop develops on some of the pontoons in strong NW winds.
