Marina di Aquileia is a large residential and marina development lying on the N side of the lagoon of [[Grado]], 1.5 miles up the Natissa river and half a mile S of the historic town of Aquileia. The marina is a total of 5.5 miles from the lagoon entrance. It offers 300 berths for yachts of up to 18 metres in depths of 2.5 - 4.5 metres. The marina is a total of 5.5 miles from the lagoon entrance. It offers 300 berths for yachts of up to 18 metres in depths of 2.5 - 4.5 metres. The marina is a good base for exploring the remains of the important Roman town of Aquileia and the excellent archaeological museum.
