The private basin of Marina di Campalto, owned by the yard of Cantiere Marchi, lies on the W side of the [[Venetian Lagoon]], just four kilometers S of the airport of Marco Polo in Mestre. It is the most convenient place in Venice to leave a shallow draft yacht for a trip home by air. The basin has 200 berths for yachts up to 18 metres in depths of 2.0 - 3.0 metres. Access is via a shallow channel and is limited to the hours between 0730 and 2300.
