The Marina di Salivoli lies immediately E of Punta Falcone, just over six miles NE of the island of Elba and a mile W of the town of Piombino. It provides a total of 480 berths for yachts up to 18 metres on six pontoons and two quays. The marina is a good launchpad for a cruise to Elba and onwards to Corsica or the islands of the Tuscan archipelago.

The marina is situated just W of the town of Piombino, some 45 miles S of the port of Livorno and six miles NE of the island of Elba. The marina is enclosed by a long breakwater extending S then E from the coast. The entrance is oriented ENE. Depths in the entrance are 4.0 - 5.0 metres and in the harbour from 2.5 - 4.0 metres. The marina provides good shelter from all directions.

Marina Location
The marina is about a kilometer from provisions and other shops in the town of Piombino. There is a minimarket in the marina shopping centre.
Transport
The Via Aurelia (E80) runs six miles inland of the town of Salivoli. The train station of Piombino is a mile from the marina, with regular trains to Roma and Pisa. There are regular ferries to the island of Elba and to Olbia in Sardinia.
