More notes about the Marina

This is a partly unfinished marina located north of the old harbour and town of Myhkonos. It provides very good shelter jfrom the prevailing winds and it is quiet but far away from the main town. Until recently something of a 'free for all', attempts have been made during 2011 to improve the facilities for yachts here and there are reportedly at time of writing (July 2011) some 34 laid moorings for small and medium sized yachts on the marina’s eastern quay and 40 for larger (20-25 metre) yachts on the inner west quay. Water and electricity (prepaid) are available at some of the berths.
