Playa Santiago (also known as Playa de Santiago) is a small town on the south coast of the island of La Gomera in the Canary Islands. It is split between two municipalities, Alajeró and San Sebastian. The part within the municipality of Alajero is the largest settlement in that municipality, with about half the population (989/1954 in 2005).

The approach to Playa Santiago is straightforward, no dangers.
Berthing
Puerto Playa Santiago
Yachts usualy go alongside the main quay, fenders and possibly an anchor to hold the boat off the quay are indicated. The port is exposed to waves from the 2nd and 3rd quadrant and it is only sheltered by the main dyke, so the 2nd quadrant waves enter with high energy in the dock. The mooring buoys in the harbour are for the use of local boats. The holding is not very good on a sandy bottom. Water, electricity, ATM. Travel-lift. 24 hr CCTV.
