Roderick Bay is in [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florida_Islands Florida or Nggela Islands] it is Popular spot for cruisers. There is a small village, the Chief's name is John. They have 2 moorings available free of charge or you can anchor in 20 meters with stern lines to their tree's. They provide night time security for visiting yachts. They can provide a traditional dinner if asked. You can take a walk to the bigger village which is about 30 minutes each way and also walk to visit the half sunken cruise ship ($25 solomon fee to the land owner). There is a good carver here with reasonable prices at the big village. Great sport - Super friendly people.
