Arriving from the north, keep one mile offshore as you round Punta Candor to avoid shallow reefs extending along the coast for the final three miles up to the harbour.

Arriving from the south, there are no dangers. The narrow harbour entrance is orientated NNE. Depths at the entrance are at least 4.5 metres.

Once inside, the shelter is good.

The harbor is shared with a marina and a fishing port. Yachts go to the marina. At busy periods, it is advisable to book a berth in advance.

Call Puerto Deportivo Rota on VHF channel 09 or telephone: +34 956 840069. E-mail. Once inside the harbour, moor at the reception pontoon opposite the entrance (which doubles as the fuel station) and visit the marina office.
