Royal Quays Marina is a substantial modern marina with full facilities accessible from the River Tyne 24 hours a day at any state of the tide.
Marina radio contact
VHF Channel 80 or mobile number 0776 4254214.
The approach to the lock can be shallow on the north side of the entrance.
