Marinas & Yacht Clubs

This is a commercial port but now has one new marina. It is still under construction (Dec 2011), but has showers, laundry, docks, electricity and water.

Daily rate of US$0.65/ft for monohulls and US$0.85/ft for multihulls. Supposedly to go up soon. Better prices for longer terms.

Anchorages

It is possible to anchor in 3 m of water just outside the marina entrance while you wait for daylight. Looks like you can also anchor just to the south of the marina although we did not see any boats anchored there.

Tourism & things to do ashore

The marina is on Calle 23. Find your way to Calle 19 (4 blocks north) and follow it inland. It is for pedestrians and full of cool little outside bars and restaurants. You will also find a modern supermarket about 6 blocks inland.
