The town of Tribunj lies on the Adriatic coast of Croatia, six miles NW of Šibenik and just over a mile W of Vodice. Like many towns along this coast, it was built on a narrow and easily defended peninsula in the 16th century to provide protection against Turkish incursions. Originally walled, the village is today connected to the mainland by a narrow stone bridge.

The town has always been an important fishing centre, but this is slowly being overtaken by tourism, especially with the construction of the Adriatic Islands Group Marina Tribunj to the east of the peninsula in 2004.

Marina Tribunj offers 220 berths for yachts up to 25.0 metres in depths of up to 4.0 metres.
