Ambrym is an island in Vanuatu, in the triangle between Malakula, Epi and Pentecost islands

Ambrym is a popular stop on the way north from Port Vila to Luganville and the northern islands of Vanuatu. It contains an active volcano which is a popular tourist stop, although not as accessible as the volcano on Tanna.

Paama Island is about 4 miles to the south of the southern tip of Epi Island. It has a small population mostly living in villages on its coast. There is an anchorage on the western side of the island.

Lopevi Island

Island icon Lopevi Island [[Ambrym#Lopevi Island|Lopevi Island]] 16°30.574'S, 168°20.452'E
Lopevi Island is uninhabited and contains an active volcano. It may be possible to anchor off the western shores of the island but the volcano erupts regularly and this may not be a particularly good idea. The population was evacuated in 1960 and has not since returned.

Navigation

Any navigation notes here. If this section does not apply remove it.

Berthing

Ports

For large islands with many ports, marinas and anchorages add a table as shown in Simple Table. if you do so, remove the following "Marinas & Yacht Clubs" and "Anchorages" sections.

For smaller islands, first list their major ports (needing more the 1-3 paragraphs to describe) and then for each one of these create a dedicated page using (Port Stub page).

Note: Please indicate which of these ports are a port of entry.
