Burgas or Bourgas or Burgaz (Bulgarian: Бургас, pronounced: [burˈɡas]) it is Bulgaria's largest port and the second-largest city on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast and the fourth-largest in Bulgaria after Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna, with a population of 200,271 inhabitants, according to the 2011 census. The approach to Burgas is straight forward and its breakwater can be easily seen from a distance.

Call the Port Authorities on VHF channel 11 on approach.


Entrance
