Hawke's Bay is a region of New Zealand, located on the east coast of the country's North Island, extending 100km from the Mahia Peninsula to Cape Kidnappers. Hawke's Bay is recognised on the world stage for its award-winning wines. The Mahia Peninsula is now becoming famous as the launch site of Rocket Lab's high tech LEO satellite carriers. [1]

Hawke's Bay contains the towns of Napier and Hastings, as well as the small town of Wairoa on its northern edge.
