Ports, Anchorages, and Islands

Regions because there can be very diverse are hard to make them fit into one single mold. In general they fall under two large categories: regions within a single country and regions comprised of several countries. But either of these can be subdivided into small regions with few counties and/or ports or large with many countries and/or ports. We will deal with all 4 of these categories separately.

1. Small regionof a single country with just a few ports, Anchorages, and Islands (i.e.Balearics). These are handled in a list. Copy the contents of Template:Small Coutry Region and paste bellow.

2. Large regionof a single country with several ports, anchorages, and Islands. These are handled with one or more table. Copy the contents of Template:Large Coutry Region and paste bellow.

3. Small region with just a few countries with few ports, anchorages, and Islands (i.e. Ionian Sea). These are handled with a single table. Copy the contents of Template:Small Region and paste bellow.

4. Large region with just a several countries that include regions, ports, anchorages, and Islands (i.e. Aegean). These are handled several section and tables. Copy the contents of Template:Large Region and paste bellow.

  • Author, Title, Publisher, ISBN ISBN number

You may want to remove the above entries and use instead a link to the Country or Region that lists the relevant references. If so enter, after removing {{MagentaText|xx}}, the following:

See [[Country or Region#References_&_Publications|Coutry or Region]].

If you do not use the above link, please remove it.
