Take care to follow the buoyed channel, which leads to the Tirdzniecibas Kanal, as there are shallow patches as well as wrecks to avoid. The moorings are close to the city centre, on the sta’bd side, just before the bridge. The yacht center is located at Berths No 80 and 81.

Liepāja (pronounced [liepaːja] (see other names) is a city in western Latvia, located on the Baltic Sea. It is the largest city in the Kurzeme Region and the third largest city in the country after Riga and Daugavpils. It is an important ice-free port. In 2017 population of Liepāja is 69,443 people.
