Customs
Firearms must definitely be declared on arrival and can be either sealed on board or kept in the Port Authority's custody until the vessel's departure. Failure to declare firearms is a serious offence.
Animals fall within the Pets Travel Scheme (P.E.T.S) and need a current pet passport, microchip and require a valid Rabies vaccination certificate and valid Health and Blood Test certificate'
A yacht may stay in Morocco for three months before duty may become due. Extensions are possible.
Immigration
Citizens of the following countries do not need visas: Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Congo, Denmark, Finland, France, Monaco, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Guinea, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Ivory Coast, Japan, Kuwait, Libya, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Mali, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Niger, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Andorra, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United States of America, Venezuela. All others require visas that should be obtained in advance.
A three months' stay is usually given. However, for short stays or emergency stops, even nationals of countries that need visas will be allowed to arrive without a visa.
Visas allow up to 90 days' stay with a double entry. Extensions can be obtained from the local police, but you require a letter of recommendation from your own embassy.
Visitors may be refused entry if their passport has an Israeli stamp in it. Israeli nationals have been refused entry.
